(Intro from Nature I )

I am not by nature a photographer of nature or a nature photographer. I was born and bred in Brooklyn, NY. I lived there for the first 18 years of my life and I never saw trees that weren’t planted in a row.

I did not seek out nature, it just came to me as I travelled and I was astounded and delighted with it.

It was rare that I ever took my camera out to shoot nature, but I was often confronted by it when going from city to city or from country to country on assignments.

There are so many photographers who do great work on nature and I do not in any way want to be compared to them, but I did get great joy from making images I was taken by.

I was seduced.
