From the Women, Foreign collection


These are images of women I saw briefly on the streets in...foreign countries. I interacted with none but I was impressed and delighted by them all.

Most were photographed in foreign countries, some a continuation of Unnamed (#98), whose intro I post here, below, for context:

 


“As I write this intro, I still have not figured out the name for this collection.

Beautiful Women? God’s Gifts? Brief Encounters? Beautiful Strangers?

What I was trying to say that these are women I briefly encountered and interacted with on New York streets, unplanned coincidences, finding myself stunned by the sheer delight of looking at a beautiful person.

Luckily nobody stopped me or dissuaded me from shooting. I do have many shots like that, but that’s for another collection called “Reactions.”

I still haven’t figured out which title I will use, so I went with the one above.”
