I’ve photographed people in about sixty-five countries.

New York remains my favorite.

There is so much energy, uniqueness, eccentricity, so much rushing about.

The tempo and variety of of people are capable of fascinating me just as much as coming to a new place.

Density means opportunity. In New York if you screw up getting a shot another will come along soon.
