Last month Regina Graham and photographer Barry William of the Daily Mail stopped by the studio to talk to Jay about living through the dramatic changes on the Bowery over last 50 years. The article displays numerous images of Jays, some published for the first time, and Jay's thoughts about the changes to the iconic area once known as "Skid Row."

Dave Dye, a London based Art Director, and Blogger, recently interviewed Jay Maisel to try and uncover the evolution of Jay's work throughout his career. There are about 40-or-so questions peppered through many photos, that covers his childhood, transitioning from painting to photography and film to digital, on color, working with ad agencies, and cleared up a strange rumor that his rejected slides somehow ended up in Mexico.

Last October the fantastic team from RRG | EDU stopped by Jay's studio in Brooklyn, NY, to talk some photography.
